TITLE: Production Team Member
TYPE: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
COMPENSATION: Hourly, $17-22/hr
LOCATION: 1101 E 16th Street Indianapolis, IN 46202
SUPERVISOR: Production Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Production Team Member is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the production facility as part of the Hotel Tango Artisan Distillery business. This individual is a vital team member in the Hotel Tango operations structure and must demonstrate our values – Esprit de Tango. The Production Team Member should be proactive in day-to-day and long-term tasks, be a high level communicator, safety-driven and quality-oriented, work well with others, detail-oriented, seeks leadership opportunities, organized and meticulous.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Spirit production/packaging:
-
Maintaining bottling line efficiency
-
Learn, understand, and follow all safety and quality standards and SOP's of the distillery

Workspace cleanliness, compliance, and organization:
-
Practice proper cleaning and sanitization protocols
-
Take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized distillery at all times
-
Maintain operational compliance with all applicable laws, codes, and standards

Packaging, shipping, and receiving:
-
Maintain consistent quality checks during the bottling and packaging process to ensure the product is being represented as intended

Be comfortable with handling raw materials. These include but are not limited to high proof grain neutral spirits (GNS), grain, molasses, and botanicals for gin production

Company vehicle and equipment operation:
-
Maintain a clean driving record to be able operate company vehicles
-
Demonstrate safe and proficient driving of medium to heavy duty vehicles and farm equipment

Proficiency in safe forklift operation
-
Safely transport company goods to and from designated locations

Company Representation

Represent the brand in a respectful and appropriate manner at all times, both on and off the production floor

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to bend, lift, carry 50+ pounds

Ability to walk and/or stand for several hours

Ability to work in an environment with varying conditions (hot, cold, wet, loud, etc.)

Clean driving record to qualify for company insurance

Local travel required up to 10%

CDL preferred

Strong work ethic

Proficiency in record keeping, word processing, Google Drive/Docs, organization, etc.

Forklift operation certification (Can be provided)

EXPERIENCE

1+ year of production beverage experience or other comparable manufacturing facility experience

1+ year of experience in packaging or other comparable manufacturing experience
