Job description

• Zumiez is searching for committed and energetic people to work part time as delivery drivers.
• As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for transporting packages and other goods from our Zumiez locations to a personal or business address from in San Gabriel Valley area (Pasadena, West Covina, El Monte, Baldwin Park, Rosemead, San Gabriel, Alhambra, Montebello, Azusa, etc)
• Your duties include loading goods, using navigation tools to arrive at the right address and delivering parcels to our local customer and providing them with the same experience we offer in our stores!
• As a driver you will receive an hourly wage along with compensation for mileage and phone data usage.
• Delivery drivers have a variety of duties in addition to driving their routes and making their deliveries.
• Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading
• Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries
• Meeting delivery deadlines
• Utilizing OnFleet and Google Docs to track mileage and delivery information
• Undergo evaluations periodically with supervisors
• Zumiez drivers must meet the following requirements:
• Operate their own vehicle for deliveries
• Must have valid insurance
• Must pass a background check
