YOUR IMPACT
As an IE lead in an aerospace R D environment, your effective collaboration with all functional groups through the entire product lifecycle is critical. You will have the opportunity to positively foster cross-department transparency, recognize areas for improvement, and align program priorities, all to achieve our customer’s deliverables.
Beyond that, you may also find yourself:
  • Scheduling standard process will integrate all key aspects of the build package into a schedule that can easily identify critical path schedule position.
  • Conducting “what if” analysis for various risk mitigation strategies, as issues arise, and forecasting future asks.
  • Providing training, coaching, and support to IE’s doing Master Scheduling and Production Scheduling across multiple ADP programs.

This position is located in Palmdale, CA
This position offers a sign-on bonus of $15,000.00 for external candidates only. If selected for this position, the sign-on bonus is subject to applicable taxes and will be processed and paid shortly after you begin employment with Lockheed Martin

Basic Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in any STEM field OR applicable experience from any of the desired skills below in lieu of the degree.

Desired Skills:


  • Experience supporting a manufacturing line
  • Experience with analytical and/or project planning tools and/or software, Microsoft Project, Excel or Team Center
  • Experience with scheduling SAP
  • Proficiency in simulation software (Simio, Arena, ProSim)
  • Experience with data visualization software (Tableau preferred)
  • Experience in Aerospace Industry working with manufacturing team.
  • Crew Planning and/or Production Scheduling Experience
  • Data Interrogation and data analytics with large datasets.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:


The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $70,500 - $132,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
