RN, Registered Nurse - Physician Office Nurse

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year L.P.N./R.N. experience, preferably in a Doctors Office.

Responsibilities:

• Assessments of patients are accurate, consistently performed and a completed efficiently. Accurate documentation of continuum of care.
• Consistently demonstrates safe and accurate technical skills.
• Demonstrates competency in the performance of all procedures routinely performed in the office.
• Routinely demonstrates proper technique in operating all office/medical equipment. Triaging of patients is accurate and complies with instructions rendered by provider.
• Demonstrates competency in providing quality patient care. Accurately follows provider directions.
• Handles all specimens using proper technique.
• Correctly labels and processes specimens.
• Insures proper preparation of specimens for lab courier transfer to Lab.
• Conscious of biohazard safety as it relates to the job; manual delivery of specimens to lab, changing of gloves between patients.
• Handles specimens using proper techniques, correctly labels for transfer to lab. Routinely performs all nursing duties using appropriate PPE and in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Performs all job duties within the scope of practice and the organization's policies/procedures.
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Credentials - Essential:

• RN - Registered Nurse
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse
• BLS - Basic Life Saving certification

Competencies and Skill - Essential:

• Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal
• Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members
• Able To Withstand Crisis Situations
• Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors
• Knowledge And Experience With Electronic Health Records

Education - Non-Essential:

• LPN program graduate
