The Company
Quest Window Systems Inc (“Quest”) is a manufacturer of a window wall system designed for high-rise residential developments, based in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Quest services clients from all over North America, including major metropolises such as New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Toronto.
We are seeking Quality Inspector for Garland Facility.
This position is full-time Direct Hire:
- Day Shift (6am-2:30pm), ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Starting pay: $18.00 per hour (based on experience)

Purpose: This position is responsible to lead and coordinate the work of QA/QC technicians responsible for inspecting, testing and analyzing the quality of our products and processes to include customer quality requirements. The QA/QC team lead is also responsible to manage and drive the process of continuous improvement within Quality department; focusing on increasing efficiency and eliminating variation in manufacturing processes
Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Insure the continuous flow of production that meets planned Quality standards while identifying and escalating issues and improvements
- Create Quality Control Plans and effectively implement and monitor
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and develop Corrective Action Plans
- Utilize QA/QC systems and equipment to meet procedures, and standards
- Work in a safe manner and follow safe work practices by following plant safety requirements
- Comply with and follow Quest Quality guidelines and follow quality control plans
- Meet Quality business expectations by producing acceptable parts, record scrap, document quality checks, identify non-conforming material and follow process to disposition
- Understand how the process and support customer service requirements
- Challenge status quo values in an open and positive manner by contributing ideas, suggestions and knowledge
- Attend and participate in all required meetings by being on time and contributing in a positive and open-minded manner
- Clean up at designated times, putting tools, materials and products in designated spots.
- Follow standardized work for all jobs and participate in defining and improving them
- Understand and accept internal and external customer expectations, adjust to changing needs within business by being flexible and adaptable
- Understand and perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Perform related or other responsibilities as required or assigned
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of Quality and Manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated ability to acquire and apply QMS principles
- Demonstrated ability to work with and motivate people
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Window aluminum industry experience is a plus
- Experience using various statistical and quality methodologies
- Understand manufacturing processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of products
