POSITION
Our Retail Developers play an important role in our retail organization as they are the first contact between our retailer’s points of sale and our HQ.
The Retail Developer reports to its Field Coach and stimulates and develops our sell-out within the “multi-brand” points of sale in his/her region through:
Every Retail Developer has a high level of independence and creates a strong relationship with their contacts within the points of sale to grow our business. They work from Tuesday to Saturday of which minimum three days as sales support in a point of sale in their region. Besides that, he/she is visiting stores for developing the beauty consultants with production information, training and optimizing store merchandising.
BUSINESS MONITORING
- Identify and exploit opportunities
- Analyze region performance and propose action plans
- Close follow-up on trade activations
- Monitoring competition (trade, launches, tools)
- Build the planning according to focus
- Follow up stock, testers/sampling usage
IMAGE GUIDANCE
- Securing best possible visibility at retailers
- Making sure retailers respect Dior image guidelines
- Evaluate retailers’ point of sales on qualitative criteria
ENGAGING STORES
- Motivate store teams
- Give appropriate training
- Presenting novelties
- Secure perfect merchandising in line with the brand guidelines
SELL-OUT PERFORMANCE
- Be a strong ambassador
- Provide best in class selling ceremony in stores
- Develop loyalty through strong brand relationship with top clients
- Develop cross selling & increase productivity
- Offer expert services

Reports to: Field Coach NL
Performance is evaluated on the basis of quantitative criteria such as:
- Sell-out results
- Store development
- Store merchandising
- Relationships with points of sale
PROFILE
Education:
- Minimum MBO
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years retail beauty work experience
- Established relationships with key beauty retailers in the market is a plus
Required:
- Driver License
