V&S Galvanizing has over 100 years of experience in Hot Dip Galvanizing and we are the leader in the steel coating industry. Today we operate over 30 galvanizing plants in the U.S. and Europe, featuring exceptional service to small fabricators as well as companies known worldwide.

We are currently searching for an outstanding individual for our Sales Managerposition at our Taunton, MA office. Sales region would include the following areas: New England and Eastern NY. Applicant coming from coating or steel industry with knowledge of working territory preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Successfully represent and market hot dip galvanizing to prospective clients
• Build and develop strong, long-lasting customer relationships
• Generate and manage new businesses
• Identify and develop opportunities within the designated territory
• Formulate and execute effective sales strategies that result in continued growth in market share
• Represent industry-related trade shows when applicable
• Maintain accurate documentation and client records

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• Knowledge of the steel industry
• Willingness to learn our industry
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced, team environment
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Ability to follow tasks through to completion
• The ability to manage and generate your own and company provided leads
• Strong networking skills along with prospecting and business development experience is required
• Consultative or solution-based sales experience
• Prior experience marketing protective coating is highly preferred but not required
• Must be willing to travel

Compensation:

A compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that includes:
