Selection Plan

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Four (4) years of experience in the carpentry trade.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SPECIAL EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years of the General Experience must have been performing skilled carpentry trades.
Note: For State Employees, this is interpreted at the level of Skilled Maintainer or Transportation Maintainer 2.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with highly skilled carpentry fabrication, installation, and repair in a safe and efficient manner.
- Experienced in installation and repair of various manufacturers of commercial overhead doors.
- Experienced in diagnosing roofing-related moisture intrusion and repairing various roofing systems.
- Experienced in installation, taping, and finishing gypsum wall board.
- Experienced in troubleshooting and repairing building envelope moisture intrusion problems.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
