Summary Objective

This position requires preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing processing facility equipment.

Requirements

• Complete & pass company forklift certification test
• · Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience
• · Previous processing facility equipment experience.

Essential Job Functions

• · Operation of forklift and/or pallet jack in a safe, efficient and precise manner
• · Pre-op inspection of forklift and completion of inspection report and report issues

to supervision

• · Troubleshoot and repair processing facility equipment
• · Repair conveyor belts
• · Routine preventative maintenance of processing facility equipment
• · Inventory spare parts
• · Complete maintenance logs and turn in work orders
• · Travel to Mexico during winter months (November – March)

Other Job Functions

• · Understand and follow all company rules and regulations
• · Safely lift up to 75 pounds with assistance
• · Crawling into tight places underneath equipment
• · Maintain an organized and clean work area
• · Professionally represent the company to outside personnel.
• · Follow verbal and written instructions from supervision
• · Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned by Supervision.

Competencies

• · Complete and pass company forklift certification test
• · Ability to communicate with supervision and co-workers
• · Self-starter, motivated and ability to work under minimal supervision
• · Perform work in a safe manner

Work Environment

• · Work in a butler building (processing facility) without temperature control

Additional Eligibility Requirements

• · Work Monday to Saturday, with occasional Sundays
• · Regular and consistent attendance mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $25.75 per hour
