Mankato Travel Center and the Ten20 Tavern are a newly constructed facility located on the north/east side of Mankato. The property boasts the many onsite amenities like the Ten20 Tavern, laundry facilities, privet restrooms with showers, an indoor, pet wash station, car wash, a drivers lounge, adult gaming room and a truck scale as well as many other options for your travel needs.

Essential Functions:

• Cleaning bathrooms and shower stalls as well as common areas with emphasis to detail.
• Washing and folding/hanging all linens and employee uniforms.
• Emptying trash receptacles.
• Cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces.
• Sweeping and mopping all common areas.
• Occasionally operating a floor buffer and carpet shampooer.
• Vacuuming.
• Keeping soap dispensers and other cleaning agents full and topped off.
• Cleaning windows.
• Dusting.

This position requires:

• Occasional lifting of up to 30LBS at a time.
• Bending, crouching, stooping or kneeling.
• An ability to operate a washing machine and dryer.
• The ability to work in humid environments for short periods of time.
• An ability to push and move around carts and/or commercial grade cleaning equipment.
• Working with various cleaning agents.
• An ability to communicate with customers and staff in courteous and effective manner.
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Attention to detail and a desire to meet and/or exceed expectations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
