This position is located out of our Princeton, MN office. Hourly non-exempt position with a annual pay range $65K-$95K.
JOB SUMMARY:
Work will consist of repairing, rebuilding or overhaul major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, trucks, tractors and miscellaneous equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Under supervision of shop supervisor, performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all motorized equipment and vehicles. This position will diagnose the source of trouble and determine the extent of necessary repairs. Employee should keep all materials, tools and equipment in an orderly fashion and maintain a clean work area at all times. Employee should also demonstrate safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment is required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school Graduate, Holder of G.E.D.
- 3 to 4 years of equivalent experience
- Technical school is helpful
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Repairing — Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools.
- Troubleshooting — Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
- Equipment Maintenance — Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Operation Monitoring — Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Operation and Control — Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
LICENSES:
- Class A CDL and medical card required
