Job Summary:
Serves in direct support of a financial or resource Analyst within the Pentagon for a USMC Command customer. Provides guidance and assists with the development spend plans and financial execution documents. Coordinates with the Program Office to ensure financial requirements are captured, appropriately funded, and guided through the acquisitions process. Previous experience as a RO or IPTL is a plus.
Other Duties:
- Coordinates and ensures financial documents are accurately reconciled and maintained within the program’s applications or software databases
- Performs and audits financial, budget and program documentation
- Prepares funding requests and reviews resources ensuring they meet or exceed government acquisition requirements
- Performs costs analysis and recommends improvements for optimum program execution
- Crafts and reviews impact statements for congressional RFIs in the contracting acquisition process
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- (3) years’ relevant experience supporting DoD programs to include:
- Requirements Determination
- Budgeting
- Resource planning
- Financial Reporting
- Acquisitions
- Extensive experience with contracting and acquisition policy
- Relevant technical experience in financial program management, planning, and execution/analysis a plus
- Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a SAP or SCI environment highly desirable
- 4 years’ experience supporting DoD acquisitions planning, management, and financial budget support
- Solid skills with Microsoft: SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Teams
- Initiative-taking individual with analytical skills and able to apply critical thinking skills to complex financial solutions and plans
