This interesting and challenging role offers you a monthly salary of €4600 - €6500 depending on your knowledge and experience. This salary is based on a 40 hour workweek excluding 13th month and holiday allowance. It is possible to work 32, 36 or 38 hours per week.

Your impact as Exchange Engineer at NN

Microsoft Office is always changing. For example, soon we begin disabling Basic Authentication for Outlook, EWS, POP, IMAP, and EAS protocols in Exchange Online. We now require modern authentication for personal and shared mailboxes, and also for our application mail relay services. Such developments give our Exchange team a high Ops load. We also have some significant Mergers Acquisitions and Divestments (MAD) projects. Luckily, you are familiar with Microsoft’s Graph API, and you know how to apply standard patterns and practices to enable O365 integration with a variety of applications.

In everything you do, you are aware of and know how to deal with security threats. In doing so, you see through the noise of all the alerts of incidents and requests. And there can be a lot of noise! You do not just jump into the ops queue without thinking about which one is priority; which one affects NN’s reputation, NN’s license to operate. You share your expertise by mentoring new team members and providing consultancy to your fellow engineers and colleagues.

Your responsibilities

• You deliver up-to-date remote connection diagrams and descriptions
• You provide answers to Security and Compliance questionnaires
• You contribute to a secure and compliant production mail relay service with >99.5% uptime
• You update the documentation for our on-prem (in the cloud) mail relay environment
• You support the Mergers Acquisitions and Divestments (MAD) team for mail-related migrations (mailboxes and people)

Who you are

With a certain creativity you think outside your own box to come up with solutions. Furthermore, you have:

• At least 5 years of experience with MS Office Exchange & Outlook
• Deep Exchange & Azure Active Directory knowledge and knowledge of the Graph API
• A certain expertise in all mail-security related issues, including compliance matters such as eDiscovery, Data loss prevention, DKIM and other measures to protect NN’s reputation
• Basic consulting skills
