DISTRICT SALES MANAGER - Netherlands
We are currently reinforcing our Benefralux team with a District Sales Manager.
The District Sales Manager is responsible for managing and further developing the Dutch market for Leonidas with the objective of maintaining the company’s position as ‘top-of-mind’ whilst increasing sales volumes and revenues of our own stores. He/she prepares a sales plan, develops a relationship with the store managers, visits the points-of-sale on a regular basis to influence visibility and stimulate sales, and follows-up results.
Principal accountabilities for this position are:
- Develop a strategy and action plan for our own stores in the Netherlands that is in line with the overall company strategy
- Analyze and monitor on a weekly basis of the results per store and draw up action plans in conjunction with the Shop Supervisors to achieve the budgeted results.
- Lead by example the store managers, provide coaching and guidance and liaise with the Benefralux team when required
- Define key promotional and merchandising requirements for our own stores, thereby working closely with shopper marketing team
- Visit each point-of-sale on a regular basis to stimulate sales, improve visibility, promote special action, check compliance with the Leonidas store concept, train the store’s personnel, …
- Supervise and control that the actual performance of the points-of-sales
- Develop a thorough understanding of his/her territory and provide input into the development of market opportunities and evolving customer requirements
- Monitor monthly performance, measure results, develop reports and recommend action as appropriate to improve sales, margin, …

The
ideal candidate has the following profile:
- At least 5 years of work experience in the FMCG sector
- Demonstrable examples of successful account growth and leadership skills
- Dutch-speaking with good knowledge English
- Has worked with MS Office (Word, outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
