Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading, developing, and implementation site-based strategies that focus on providing an exceptional patient and staff experience which drive the overall experience to an exceptional level. Analyses results and determines best steps to improve related results. In addition, this role consults provides guidance/training with executives, physicians, staff, travelers/contract, HR, and leaders on the best practices of patient experience and teaches others at all levels. This role requires solid experience in adult learning concepts, along with advanced project management, organization, and communication skills. Facilitates consistent messaging, training, and measurement to create a patient and family centered culture. Consults with HR to align strategies and programs for the engagement and strengthening of staff commitment for best results. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
About Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH):

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for 70 years. Qualifications:
Florida or Compact Active/current Nursing license. Bachelor’s Degree Required in Healthcare related program Master’s preferred.
Three to five (3-5) years’ experiences in patient/customer relations which includes experiences in successfully developing and creating strategies to improve patient/customer experience.

3-5 years of experience in Healthcare Environment required. BLS required

Demonstrated Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, EMR proficiency

Demonstrates strong communication, organization and follow-through skills, managing patient experience improvement initiatives, projects and programs

Able to develop and make presentation to all levels within the organization and manage projects with an innovative and creative approach which exhibits excellent complex analytical, and change management skills

Knowledge of clinical and nonclinical acute hospital operations/medical practice and continuum of care medical practice and pre/post-acute services. Demonstrates active research practices to improve patient experience

Attention to detail, ability to lead, organize and work on multiple initiatives/projects without compromising work


P roven track record of s trong customer service skills/interpersonal interactions; ability to handle difficult people and situations constructively. Excellent analytical skills, including analysis, planning, organizing, and troubleshooting. Superior oral, written communication and presentations skills. Ability to train, direct and provide feedback, coaching and follow up. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
