Our rapidly growing organization seeks a Credit & Collections Manager to work directly with our Controller. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing credit criteria and risk assessment.
- Managing the credit process.
- Credit analysis.
- Experience with Lien Waivers.
- Balancing the need to move quickly to support the need to assess risk for the company.
- Conduct monthly meetings with General Manager’s to go over aging.
- Keep the Controller updated with potential risks and the collection process being completed for these risks.
- Make collection calls and provide documentation.
- Monitor contractor’s license status.
- Set credit limits on master accounts.
- Review and update company’s credit policies on an on-going basis.
- Manage a team and allocate work accordingly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Credit Manager or similar role
- Managing others and setting expectations required
- Proficient with accounting software
- Knowledge of Sage preferred
- Ability to create and process financial spreadsheets using Excel
- Strong knowledge of accounting/collection principles
- Ability to build relationships over the phone and e-mail
- Strong follow-up and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment, and be highly organized
Salary Pay Range: $63,400 to $85,600 annually. Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and will fall within the range provided above.
