FULL-TIME – MONDAY – FRIDAY – DAYS – WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS: AS NEEDED

High school diploma and two years’ experience required. Responsible for providing support in department operations and overall cash collections for all third-party payers. Collects receivables and provides support for department employees to collect receivables for patient care services. Identifies issues and slow payment patterns form third party payers. Monitors, creates and analyzes applicable reports. Investigates and reports claims, payment patterns and issues. Works to resolve issues to ensure to ensure prompt payment of claims and aherence to compliance regulations. Assists with department training for all facets of the department. Acts as liaison among the Collection Team, medical center departments such as Patient Access, Medical Records, Radiology, etc. for troubleshooting payer problems and make necessary corrections and refers to the appropriate department/management for correction and training. Ensure that account moves appropriately through the revenue cycle. Communicate issues regarding payers and overall, ensure compliance issues are adhered to in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
