The Cluster Reservations office is located at the Hilton Amsterdam; this will be your place of work.

Job description

For our Business Development Department we are currently looking for a Cluster Individual Reservations Agent. Within this position, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Acceptance and entry of reservations mainly by e-mail, but also by telephone
• Call-off / updating of reservations via the booking system
• Exact knowledge and correct application of various rates
• Confirmation of reservations by e-mail
• Correct management of reservation documents
• Observance of the established standards of service
• Adherence to company credit policies
• Ensure Quality Checks on existing reservations
• Ensuring the satisfaction and loyalty of our guests and bookers by providing optimal service conform the established standards.

Required skills and competencies

• Hospitable & commercial attitude
• Good organizational and administration skills
• Commitment to delivering a high level of service
• Knowledge of hotel property management systems
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Results driven
• Preferably of one year relevant experience in a similar position

Het iconische hotel maakt deel uit van Plan Zuid, een stadsdeel wat ooit ontworpen is door de bekende architect Berlage; het ligt op loopafstand van het Vondelpark, het Museumplein met zijn wereldberoemde musea, het Concertgebouw en vlakbij alle uitvalswegen.

Hilton Amsterdam beschikt over verschillende bar- en restaurant faciliteiten, waaronder de Half Moon Lounge, Espressobar Issimo, Roberto’s Restaurant, het Garden Terrace, The Pavilion en het heeft een prachtige tuin aan het water met een kleine jachthaven.

Roberto’s Restaurant serveert naast ontbijt een hoog niveau à la carte menu tijdens lunch en diner. Issimo heeft de beste koffie, espresso, verse Italiaanse broodjes en take-away en in de Half Moon Lounge en op het Garden Terrace kan gekozen worden uit een kleiner menu en allerlei cocktails en bijzondere wijnen. In de zomer kan men aan het water genieten van vlees-, vis- en vegetarische gerechten die live bereid worden op de gril.
