Position Overview

The Client Services Account manager serves as a liaison between Communiqué USA and its clients. This position provides client support, manages the client services team, supervises creatives and other staff to ensure projects meet client expectations and are delivered on time, and within budget. The Account Director pitches ideas to clients, develops strategies for new service offerings and coordinates client meetings. The account manager position will collaborate directly with clients to facilitate great work by establishing credibility and trust. A successful account manager should be self-directed, have excellent communication, relationship-building and supervisory skills as well as the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for selling and defending all CUSA work and proposals to clients; supports other CUSA team members in these functions. Coordinates client presentations, feedback, and approvals

· Directly manages and supervises account teams to insure project success

· Plan, execute and manage client accounts and projects

· Build relationships with clients to ensure project success

· Coordinate and facilitate regular client meetings

· Keeps apprised of the progress of clients’ projects through relevant team members

· Actively seeks additional projects and new business for client contacts. Participates in new business pitches and RFPs as necessary

· Provides counsel, support, insights, and/or research to clients in support of strategies, recommendations, or tactics

· Manage projects as needed/required

· Ensure client satisfaction and retention

· Posts accurate and detailed time-sensitive progress/change reports to C-USA leadership

· Provide regular updates, respond to inquires, and address any client concerns in timely manner

· Regularly checks for and responds promptly to all client communications, having Project Management experience is a plus.

· Management and mentoring of CUSA account teams

· Checks and approves project creative concepts and production materials, copy, layouts, scripts, and artwork as needed

· Meets regularly with C-USA team and leadership to coordinate project assignments on behalf of current clients

· Keeps apprised of clients’ brand, products, services, and marketing developments

· Prepares estimates for client work. Coordinates project timing, budgets and monthly projections. Works diligently to keep clients and C-USA team on track regarding timing and deliverable expectations

· Routinely attends industry functions, client functions, product launches, agency gatherings, or others as needed

· Conducts effective, engaging meetings with a clear goal and a prepared agenda

· Handles paperwork and maintains files on all client activities, their competition; maintains clients’ correspondence files, approvals, copy, forms, documents, and tracking of account service work, etc.

· Works with internal CUSA HR to identify and hire creative staff

· Maintains electronic files on all assigned accounts on the shared drive Details pertinent approvals and client feedback needed for accurate proofreading and meeting of client standards

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or a related field
  • Effective presentation skills
  • A minimum of five years of experience in an account service and supervisor capacity
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Staffing Agency experience a plus
  • ·Exceptional analytical and conceptual-thinking skills
  • ·The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • ·Excellent technical and communication skills
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
  • Competency using Microsoft Office Suite
  • A track record of following through on commitments
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
