Your Career
We’re looking for a results-oriented, performance-driven Channel Marketing Manager to build, manage and execute the channel marketing plans for Northern Europe. Reporting into the Regional Senior Marketing Manager, the Channel Marketing Manager is an essential member of the marketing and channel sales teams. We are in search of extraordinary individuals to take charge, make a positive difference and that aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
You will also work closely with the regional Channel Directors and Channel Sales teams as well as the wider EMEA Marketing Go-to-market Team, to align on strategy, focus and priorities for your region.
Your Impact
- Develop, refine and orchestrate the plans in region based on the NEUR marketing strategy in alignment to the channel business objectives and Go-to-Markets (XGTM) priorities and strategy
- Formulates and agrees with a select group of focused partners their Marketing plans, execution methods and objectives. Monitors the executions of the channel marketing plans in accordance to Palo Alto Networks guidelines
- Educate, enable and support your channel teams on how to leverage and utilize the marketing campaigns and activities running in the region.
- Educates and enables the partners on accepting and converting leads to opportunities, strong co-marketing funded (MDF) planning and marketing attribution via the deal registration process
- Reviews and assesses the results of the executed activities/plans and monitors the channel organizations follow up to measure the ROI.
- Effectively manage co-marketing funds with partners and monitor spending as per Palo Alto Networks guidelines. Co-marketing participation is proposal based and approved on the clear business value to both Palo Alto Networks and our NextWave Partners as well as the expected results associated with the agreed marketing activity.
- Be our ambassador: driving partner awareness, enablement, and vendor preference
- Be an advisor: guiding our partners on how to grow their Palo Alto Networks business by leveraging our marketing programs, initiatives, and advanced analytics
- Be a friend to partners and sales alike. This role goes beyond B2B Marketing; it is about building and maintaining business relationships
Your Experience
- 8-10 years Industry Experience with minimum 4 years working with Channel organizations & a variety of partner types (Distributors, SPs, GSIs, VARs, etc.)
- Proven track record of planning & executing partner demand generation and enablement programs
- Ability to learn and fully articulate the Palo Alto Networks Story, GTM strategy and NextWave Partner Program
- Ability to provide consultative input to senior sales leaders & partner executives
- Ability to confidently present in front of partners, senior sales management and sales teams
- Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes
- Good communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences.
- Solid understanding of business management and operations, including finance/revenue/pipeline principles
- Ability to influence and build trusted relationships with direct and matrixed stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills desired, need to be well versed in channel marketing campaign best practices.
- Willingness to learn, embrace challenges, persist in the face of setbacks, see effort as a path to mastery, learn from constructive criticism and find lessons and inspiration in the success of others.
