Responsibilities & Duties

· Assembles bathing units per work/sales order.

· Installation of bathing system components including air spa, blower, hoses, jets and housings, manifolds, Whirlpool pumps, friction heater, water valve, drain, seat heater, aroma therapy, chroma therapy and all other controlling switches.

· Plumbing of component systems requiring the use of PVC glue to assemble.

· Operate table and band saw.

· Assemble units uniformly.

· Keep clean clutter-free work area.

· Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

· Must have 1 years saw experience, be detailed oriented and self-disciplined.

· Requires ability to read a tape measure and operate power tools for 8-10 hours per day and have good math skills.

· Requires continuous standing, quick movement, and good visual attention to detail.

· Requires bending at knees & waist, pushing, and pulling dollies or hand trucks carrying product in excess of 120 lbs. without assistance with a handcart and 500-1000 lbs. with a pallet jack with or without assistance.

· Previous experience in construction and light industrial assembly preferred.

· Must display an attitude of cooperation and the ability to work well with others.

· Position requires integrity, in the performance of assigned tasks.

· Must read, write, speak English, and read & understand sales order packets, instructions, and diagrams.

· Must be able to do quality checks on product.

· Transports items weighing 120 lbs. or more with a handcart, and 500-1000 lbs. with a pallet jack with or without assistance.

· Work overtime as needed including weekends and holidays.

· Use power hand tools.

· Work in a fast-paced environment.

Tools, Equipment & Protective Gear Used

· Operation of various hand tools including tape measure, wrenches, pipe cutters, pliers, orbital sanders, screwdrivers, power drills, grinders, belt sanders.

· Dust mask, earplugs, safety glasses, leather gloves, and nitro gloves.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

· Work is performed indoors with moderate noise level. The employee in this class is frequently subject to inside/outside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.

· Position requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, which permits the employee to function in a production environment to accomplish tasks.

· Continuously move units weighing over 120 lbs. with or without assistance.

· Continuously exposure to dusty environment.

· Constantly requires clarity of speech and hearing, which permits the employee to communicate effectively.

· Constantly requires repetitive movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

· Constantly requires standing & mobile for 10+ hours per day.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Overtime

Supplemental pay types:
