Germanna Community College is seeking a part time-Administrative Assistant (AOS III) to support the office of Marketing & Recruitment. The successful candidate will provide general administrative support for the Director of Marketing & Recruitment, which include maintaining the department’s marketing and recruitment calendars, maintaining up-to-date vendor list and key contact information, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, processing travel requests and reimbursements, purchasing and procurement support, maintaining departmental budgets, preparing, and responding to emails and communications on the Director’s behalf, and other administrative tasks as needed.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to learn new systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Flexibility to work at different locations as needed
- Ability to manage multiple priorities at once and comfortable supporting a face-paced work environment
- Associate degree
- Experience working as an Administrative Assistant in a college setting
- Purchasing/procurement experience in eVA
