We are not-for-profit organization that provides services to the elderly. Currently we are looking for a special person to add to our team in the role of part time Life Enrichment Assistant.

This position assists in providing varied and innovative program to enhance the emotional, social, physical, spiritual and intellectual well-being of the residents. Some of the duties of the position include:

• Assist with planning and perform regularly scheduled activities and/or life skills activities.
• Assist with facilitating visits with residents and loved ones
• Conduct one one one visits
• Present professional appearance/dress.
• Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing, follow instructions and direction, interact with residents of varying backgrounds and abilities, remain cheerful and calm under stressful situations, and work as a team member.
• The Life Enrichment Assistant maintains a positive attitude which supports team performance and productivity.

Requirements

We are hoping to find a candidate who meets the following:

• Compassionate, patient and positive demeanor towards the senior population.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends and holiday hours.
• Ability to lift and/or move equipment and furniture up to 20 lbs. as needed for event set-up.
• Must love interacting with the elderly.
