The Opportunity

  • Supports field sales and internal functional teams by developing and maintaining Ally Plus program data and related business intelligence.
  • Monitors trends and tracks results via actionable reports.
  • Applies knowledge of business and balanced judgment in interpretation of data (analytics).
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and the ability to analyze quantitative information presented in a variety of formats.
  • Considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders.

The Work Itself

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly and AdHoc reporting and ensure the information is readily accessible to the field sales organization via posting on Sales Performance site and via push report methods.
  • Create both historical and forward-looking analysis and opportunity to present to peers, team members, business line leadership, and external partners.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities at a process and product level using data mining and analytics to provide recommendations.
  • Assist with development and implementation of appropriate metrics/reporting that drive business results and adoption of best practices.
  • Interprets and translates business data and intelligence into market insights and actionable reporting.
  • Interaction with various levels of sales organization to support program objectives and identification of market growth opportunities and competitive landscape.
  • Support in discovering, evaluating, and quantifying new opportunities leveraging critical thinking skills pertaining to enterprise strategy, profitability, and business line bandwidth usage
  • Elevates risk issues to management: supports monitoring and mitigation of risk elements by first line of defense.
  • Mentor high performing group of early career analysts.

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • 3+ years in financial services or automotive industry is needed.
  • Understanding of consumer finance principles.
  • Advanced knowledge MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to provide advice/direction in primary areas of expertise.
  • Leveraging technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results.
  • Quick learner and has demonstrated ability to initiate, develop and execute small to medium scale projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate a highly developed understanding of quantitative and qualitative analysis and research methods.
