The successful candidate will join our Petroleum and Petrochemical Business Unit to support projects in the Rocky Mountain Region and assist in providing clients across many industries with effective, responsive, and safe solutions. Responsibilities
In your role as a mid-level engineer, geologist, or scientist you will assist with managing remediation projects, including refinery and other petroleum or industrial sites under regulatory orders; coordinating and executing soil and groundwater investigations; developing project cost estimates; developing reports; and supporting technical/business development/marketing efforts as needed. Other job responsibilities will include assisting with project management, including budgeting, and client relations.
Position Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or related field
3-5 years of relevant work experience
Working toward or in possession of a professional registration
Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, agency representatives, and project team members
Positive employment or academic history with a commitment to safe work practices
Initiative and motivation to complete project deliverables on schedule and in accordance with quality expectations
Reliable, team-oriented work habits
Ability to travel to client sites and other Trihydro offices
A clean driving record
Ability to work independently
Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential
Location and Work Environment
This position will have the option to be based in Laramie, WY (Trihydro’s headquarters), Cheyenne, WY, or Fort Collins, CO. These offices are situated in growing communities that offer city amenities combined with convenient access to recreation opportunities. The position requires some work outdoors at petroleum refineries and industrial construction sites and requires up to 40% travel to various project locations.
