The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant to join our General Surgery and Burn Specialists division located at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in North Portland. Workdays will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (varied). This position will be 30 hours a week. Responsibilities include some front office duties as well as collecting patient information, escorting patients to exam rooms, preparing patients for examination, assisting with procedures, and assisting with overall delivery of patient care. This position will be very hands-on, with burn/wound care daily.
We are searching for candidates with a friendly demeanor, great attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. Candidates must have the ability to multitask, work well with others as part of a team, and be able to maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced office.
Level and pay depend on experience:* $20.00 - $27.79 per hour.*

No Weekends or Holidays. Day shift only

Requirements:

• New Grads Welcome to apply! Must be certified within 60 days
• Previous surgical specialty or wound care experience is preferred.
• Certification from a national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, etc).
• Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required by specialty.
• Ability to communicate clearly to patients, staff and physicians.
• Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
