WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
The Product Marketing Specialist will be located in Europe, but will work close to an international team that supports and leads product commercialization for four brands at nVent. As a key marketing team member, a successful candidate will be a day-to-day contact with other business functions and ensure that product launch materials and product campaigns created are consistent and to a high standard. The specialist role will continue our company goal to position our products and compete with key audiences across the EMEA region.
- Contribute to a successful content strategy to be used for all product launches in the region
- Use professional project management skills to:
- Develop and implement plans, action steps, and timetables for projects and assignments.
- Coordinate work with other groups (other departments, agencies/contractors, peers).
- Track and prioritize projects, while documenting via an established traffic report
- Create written content in support of campaigns and tactics as agreed upon by the business and as needed for other marketing needs
- Participate in reporting for dashboards and campaign outcomes. Provide analysis and recommendations on future campaign improvement based on historical takeaways
- Find opportunities to generate and improve lead generation activities
- Think “digital first” – from web sites to lead-generating campaigns and work in team with digital and other marketing specialists to enhance the impact of all tactics
- Be passionate about brand-building to ensure consistency and adherence in all created content.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree - preferably in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field)
- Ideally 3+ years of relevant professional experience, including marketing or other appropriate experience, preferably working for a major electrical or industrial products manufacturer or distributor
- Experience with modern digital marketing platforms including social media tools, marketing automation (Marketo preferred), digital asset management and web content management systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- French language knowledge is an advantage. Multi-lingual understanding is a plus
- Upbeat, set for success individual with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload
- Self-starter, willing to take initiative with limited supervision
- Ability to work in teams globally and across all levels of the organization
