Memberful design

Momkai is an award-winning strategic design agency that focuses on building membership-based communities around meaningful missions. Our global clients past and present include Adyen, Red Bull, Nike, the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB), Urban Land Institute, Imperial College London, and New York University. The team worked closely with the founders of VanMoof, Bugaboo, Oncode Institute, Swapfiets and Renews Japan. Momkai helped to co-found, design, and build De Correspondent, now the 3rd largest membership journalism platform in the world (and a client for over 9 years).
We focus on memberful design — or empowering groups of people to take action together around a shared purpose. As the Momkai team, we help changemakers and founders to achieve this. About your role
Your work matters

We are looking for a talented visual designer to create meaningful experiences, platforms, and brands. You love to dive into a community and help its members to better engage with each other. Simply put, you’re a designer who really likes to help others to find their way.
You will work closely with other designers and experts on the team. To create holistic experiences together, grounded in strong guiding principles. As a visual designer, you are used to designing presentations, making guidelines, and presenting work to clients. With thoughtful details to inspire the members of the organizations we work with. Both in digital and print.
At Momkai, you will be part of an independent design studio — and will be welcomed by a close-knit team, who will do anything in their power to make you feel at home.

What we ask: *

• Minimum 3 years experience - in this role, preferably at a similar agency

• Hands-on — receptive to feedback

• Eye for detail — with a focus on clear concepts

• Helping others grow — offer guidance to interns

• Member focused — design with the members in mind

• Proficient in English — speaking Dutch is helpful

Design tools knowledge — Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Keynote

• Optional skills — After Effects, Adobe Premiere or 3D software
