POSITION SUMMARY
The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. Responsible for timely check-ins and check-outs and hotel housekeeping. They maintain constant awareness of hotel occupancy. Answers telephones in a courteous, informative, and timely manner. Assists guest with luggage needs. Assist Caesars Rewards with taking incoming phone calls when needed. Must maintain a fun and friendly attitude with employees and guests and ensure that areas are clean and safe for guests and employees. This employee will assist hotel management in daily operations of the Hotel Front Desk and Housekeeping.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and answers customer questions in a courteous and professional manner. Has the ability to take ownership of guest issues and ensure prompt solutions.
· Highly skilled at the hotel front desk and reservation procedures and has the ability to create and manage hotel and banquet blocks.
· Advanced knowledge of LMS and InfoGenesis and has the ability to investigate and resolve guest disputes within each and process voids.
· Ability to supervise front desk clerks and ensure proper staffing levels (includes training).
· Ability to supervise hotel housekeeping and ensure proper staffing levels.
· Assure the safety and security of guests and employees.
- Ability to work alone and perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures.
- Assists and advises hotel management and other departments regarding hotel operations as needed.
- Assists and assumes manager duties in their absence.
· Has a thorough knowledge of all special events and promotional activities. Assists guests with all reasonable requests.
- Act in ways that will surprise and delight our guests. Leave guests with positive feelings about our property and establish/maintain relationships with them. Approach each situation with a “yes we can” attitude, every guest every time.
· Completes all company required training within designated time frames.
· Completes alcohol training and acquires/maintains certification.
· Trains new employees for position of Hotel Front Desk Clerk.
