Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Grinder for a local manufacturing company.

Job Duties:

• Setting stops on the machine bed, changing dies, and adjusting components.
• Using spot welders, punch presses, powered hand tools, chop saws, band saws, grinders, and drill presses
• Testing and adjusting machine settings according to specifications
• Marking identifying data on workpieces
• Stacking and organizing workpieces correctly for the next process
• Cleaning and lubricating of machines
• Cleaning Work Area

Physical Required:

• Heavy Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Standing long periods
• Squatting, crouching, and bending

Experience Required:

• Basic math, including addition and subtraction
• Converting fractions into decimals, ability to use a calculator
• Reading and understanding shop drawings to successfully execute work
• Using a tape measure and calipers to measure work
• Physical demand

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
