What’s the job?

The successful applicant will ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

• Be willing to do participate and complete all safety requirements including adherence to LOTO procedures; SMATS; TF4/TF5 reporting, etc.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Ability to diagnose and repair electrical problems within MCC, PLC, electrical transmission, and distribution.

• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.

• Familiar with both AC and DC, 120 & 240-volt circuits.
• Responsible for maintaining all electrical apparatus plant-wide.
• Willing and able to assess, repair, or replace motors, drives, and buckets
• Willing and able to read blueprints, use NEC code book, bend, run, and install conduit, operate metering devices and able to maintain a supply of necessary spares, understands SAP

What do you bring?

The successful applicant will have either a high school diploma or GED and professional maintenance experience and knowledge in maintenance disciplines, such as automated control systems, safety qualifications, and professional industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

• Three to five (3-5) years of active professional maintenance experience.
• Requires adaptability, methodical/analytical problem-solving skills, and employee leadership skills with the ability to effectively apply these skills in a manufacturing facility.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills to work effectively in corporate, manufacturing, and team environments.
• Basic typing skills and proficiency in the utilization of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Safety programs including but not limited to: Lockout/Tagout, Permit to Work, Confined Space, and Working at Heights.
