Electrical Engineer
Primary Responsibilities
The electrical engineering role will provide you the opportunity to develop your career, skills, and get some exciting experiences including:
- Supporting the development and testing of Advanced Electrical Power Systems for US Navy ship programs
- Supporting design and analysis for new naval ship power electronics initiatives
- Working with subject matter experts, vendors, and ships force to sustain, verify, and validate power electronics systems
Responsibilities
- Work with power electronics equipment such as Relays (incl. solid state), voltage/current injectors, DC/DC and DC/AC solid state converters, switch boards, circuit breakers, bus ties, and motor drives.
- Create, update, and run test procedures
- Update engineering analysis and technical manuals
- Review or update electrical drawings
- Support initiatives to upgrade or modernize power electronics equipment
- Support design reviews and OEM test results review
- Travel up to 20% to support the efforts above
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering required
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering including power electronics
- Ability to learn quickly and work on several projects concurrently
- US Citizenship required; Can get secret clearance; active clearance preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Navy experience is a plus
- Active secret clearance or higher is a strongly preferred
- Fluent in Allen Bradley or Siemens Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) ladder logic

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
