We are Senior Helpers based in Bolingbrook and we are seeking a CNA certified Caregiver Coordinator.

This is a fast-paced role in a fast-paced, quickly expanding business and we are looking for an experienced CNA to help develop our team of Caregivers.

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• Overseeing the Care Team and assessing their training needs. This will include regular communication via phone, text, and email.

• 90-day reviews: Observing and assessing the Caregivers performance. Providing feedback from client and office. Assigning short- and long-term goals for development.

• One on one training provided to Caregivers as needed. Recording any training in their files.

• Assisting with new staff orientation as needed,

• Building relationships with the care team and helping them to have a great work life balance while delivering outstanding care.

• Holding or assisting with training classes which may include equipment use and dementia training. Materials and training plans provided.

• Some front desk office administration: Completing assigned tasks as needed which may include calling potential Caregivers and Clients, greeting visitors, assisting with schedule modifications as directed by the Scheduling manager, answering questions, filing paperwork, and assisting with general administration.

• On call care, covering caregiver call-offs when it can not be covered and assisting with new and existing client needs, supporting them in their homes, answering queries and providing support as needed. This includes taking responsibility for the 24-hour admin phone up to 2 weeks a month; answering Caregiver calls and texts in a timely manner and addressing any immediate concerns as they happen.

Job Requirements:

• Current CNA certificate

• Must be able to provide two professional references

• Minimum one-year hands-on experience in a Caregiving role

• Reliable transportation

• Good organization skills
