The Impact You Will Have in This Role:

As a member of the Business Transformation Office (BTO) leadership team, the Chapter Lead will partner with key stakeholders to effectively plan, source, manage, grow, allocate and offboard (when necessary) a team of Business Agility practitioners to deliver against the BTO portfolio of work. As needed, the Chapter Lead works alongside a chapter member and/or in a hands-on capacity to ensure BTO commitments to our internal clients are met.

This Chapter Lead will articulate a compelling vision for the chapter and how its critical subject matter expertise enables the value and business benefits of BTO services and products. They will be able to introduce and promote new approaches and techniques to drive the organizational growth of the chapter competencies and its members. In addition, this individual will play the role of Product Manager for Business Agility. They will develop and communicate the vision and roadmap for Business Agility at DTCC, work closely with internal stakeholders to understand key business challenges, partner with experts in the BTO to identify Business Agility solutions to address those challenges and collaborate with the BTO's product squad to ensure that feedback and requests are seamlessly integrated into their product planning and development processes.


Your Primary Responsibilities :

  • Provide guidance in area of expertise – Serve as an SME to coach/guide chapter members and the BTO in the areas of scaled Agility framework application, strategic problem solving, Agile coaching and training on best practices, managing stakeholders, development of high-quality collateral and resources in support of Business Agility and capability-building with our clients. Ensure consistent use of best practices across chapter. As needed, support and work alongside chapter members to support the delivery of client commitments.
  • Build competency – Responsible for the development of individual and chapter level competencies. Support the ongoing development of individuals through frequent feedback and coaching, as well as structured development plans that include education, exposure, and experience activities.
  • Allocate resources –Plan and allocate resources by evaluating talent needs across the BTO with individuals’ competencies and growth opportunities considered.
  • Performance management – Responsible for formal performance appraisals quarterly and annually with input from BTO team members, partners, and clients as well as ensuring performance expectations are clear and being met.
  • Promote culture – Create an environment of excellence and continuous improvement. Uphold the BTO norms and working agreements, contribute to the continuous development of DTCC and BTO’s culture through role modeling.
  • Business Agility product management – Act as a connector between our internal clients, the BTO and key partners to ensure we are driving Business Agility practices that deliver the highest value to the enterprise and appropriately prioritizing our effort to increase timely business benefits.
  • Cultivate relationships within the BTO and with critical stakeholders in the business (e.g., Tribe Leads, CoE Leads, Functional Leaders, Communities of Practice, etc) to encourage adoption of prioritized practices and solutions as well as establish effective feedback channels.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

  • Management consulting experience in Agile practices, business transformation, and/or operating model design and implementation is required
  • Proven track-record for leading a successful transformation is required
  • 5-8 years of experience as a people manager with a strong track record for team performance and engagement
  • 5-8 years of expertise in several of the following areas: Business Agility methods (Delivery, Product, Portfolio and Organizational Agility), application of scaled Agile frameworks, coaching, meeting design and facilitation, training, and stakeholder management
  • Strongly prefer certification in a scaled Agile framework such as SAFe, Scrum@Scale, LeSS or Nexus
