Your Solution Partner. :
We have an excellent opportunity for a Welder (2nd shift) position :to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for fabrication, and repairs for metal and other welded material, by applying appropriate welding techniques. This position will report to the Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities:

• Operates welding machines using standard welding fixtures and following defined procedures
• Prepares parts for welding by setting up fixtures and aligning parts per specifications
• Ensures parts have been properly cleaned prior to welding
• Checks welded assembly for distortions, visually or by using a variety of measuring instruments.
• Cleans off excess weld material with various hand tools
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have TIG welding experience, required
• Normally works on assignments that are typically routine in nature
• Receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instruction on new assignments
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Preferred Education/Certifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred
