Approved Freight Forwarders has an immediate opening for a qualified Receiving Clerk / Forklift Operator to join our growing team in City of Industry. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and possesses shipping experience. The compensation range is $19 p/hr. depending on experience. Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attach revenue to each shipment
• Create shipments
• Create orders out of Warehouse Management System
• Close shipments once shipped
• Invoice customer at the end of each month
• Communicate with customer any discrepancies
• Manage drivers with hazmat decs
• Update spreadsheet with data/info pertaining to each load/shipment
• Upload pictures into Warehouse Management System

Skills / Abilities :

• Excellent Communication Skills
• Sit down Forklift experience is a plus
• Excellent attendance
• Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience with Warehouse Management System
• Logistics, 3PL, Transportation, Warehouse, and Distribution experience a plus
