Black Box is looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager in Utrecht, Netherlands!!!

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the logistics, warehouse, and assembly team of our EMEA warehouse in Utrecht. You ensure that the workflow and supervision of the team is effective and will strive for a smooth process. In this job, you will work on continuous improvement plans in cooperation with the Global Logistic Manager, procurement, and customer services.

Primarily Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day logistics by managing the warehouse team, in- and outbound flows, storage, and transports.
• Work on customer satisfaction in close cooperation with customer services
• Plan inbound flows in close cooperation with procurement and transport companies/carriers
• Responsible for an assembly team (LAB) in the warehouse
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers of warehouse material and freight carriers.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Arrange and plan out the warehouse and assembly month, quarter, and year-end work plan
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints, manage claims with carriers
• Supervise, coach, and train the warehouse team
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
• Maintain KPI metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Comply with laws, regulations and health and safety requirements
• Complete any legally required reporting
• Continuously look for improvements to operations
• Working proactively with various departments to realize efficiencies and manage expectations

• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology for process improvements
  

Education/Experience Requirements

• At least 5 years of proven working experience as a logistics or warehouse manager
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Proficient in ERP systems
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
  

Supervisory Responsibility

• The warehouse and logistics manager hires, trains, manages, and evaluates the warehouse and assembly team.
