  • Develop brand-led consumer data strategies in partnership with our Brand and Category leads

  • Develop and optimize our data acquisition strategies

  • Partner with the brand teams to bring a consumer data-driven approach to creative, media, and activation

  • Partner with local & global MDS (IT) to maintain data governance and policy. Build an organizational capability in consumer data activation and drive adoption across marketing.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in consumer data activation, with a deep understanding of brand development, marketing agency management, consumer data platforms, data collection, data management, business intelligence, and quantitative analysis.

This individual will lead a cross-functional team with 1 direct report (Consumer Data Analyst, USA).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute brand-led consumer data strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth in partnership with brand leads

  • Develop, optimize and implement data acquisition strategies to support the brand strategy and business objectives in partnership with activation agencies and brands.

  • Provide consumer data-driven input to creative, media, and activation to ensure high-quality work and timely delivery of projects.

  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve media effectiveness and increase digital media ROI.

  • Conduct quantitative analysis and provide insights to identify trends, insights, and opportunities across the entire consumer journey.

  • Use business intelligence tools to provide insights and recommendations for business decisions.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and agencies to support data activation initiatives.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of data activation campaigns and identify opportunities for optimization.

  • Partner with MDS (IT) to maintain and improve the consumer data management platforms, including data architecture, data governance, and data quality.

  • Collaborate with the Legal, Security, and MDS team to ensure data privacy and security compliance.

  • Build consumer data literacy and capability across the Marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science or related field

  • 7+ years of experience in consumer data activation, consumer data strategy development, quantitative analysis, and business intelligence.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Experience with data analytics tools and platforms.

  • Understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead and mentor a team of data activation professionals.

  • Strong knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.

  • Experience in delivering digital media ROI improvements.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $195,000 ; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results .
