Department Overview Motorola Solutions Worldwide Education is responsible for creating innovative training strategies, as well as the design, development, and delivery of technical and end-user training content across the MSI solutions/product portfolio. Our training services address the educational needs of our Motorola Solutions customers, partners and employees, enabling each group to be more efficient, effective, as well as ensure established business and operational outcomes are met.
Job Description
This role is responsible for delivering Motorola Solutions instructor-led technical training (In-Person or Virtual) to customers, partners and employees, while achieving a high level of participants’ satisfaction. The range of courses an instructor delivers can cover systems, infrastructure, subscribers and/or relevant foundation skills.

Main Responsibilities:
Deliver face-to-face training sessions, either at MS training centers/facilities or at customer/partner site
Deliver virtual training sessions
Expand their knowledge and skills at a high level to deliver the assigned training sessions in the required methodology (virtual/in-class)
Maintain Instructional skills
Collaborate with Lab Technicians on the readiness and maintenance of training labs
Collaborate with the Content & Media team consulting on the technical content of the courses he/she delivers, and reporting (via the Portfolio Manager) any technical inaccuracy identified in training materials
When needed, prepare additional training material (tests, worksheets etc.)
Prepare requisite manuals and handouts ahead of training sessions
Evaluate overall effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements to enhance the training material used
Demonstrate procedures being taught, such as configuration and restoration, applying knowledge, using required tools, and testing equipment, following the course outline

Knowledge/Professional Skills:
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Technical Education, Engineering Technology
OR 3+ years of technical experience
3+ years of Technical Training Experience
The Instructor is expected to be an excellent communicator and equipped with required knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects. Instructors must have a degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Extensive experience working as a system engineer, field engineer, or other technical support position, with Motorola ASTRO® systems and subscribers
Ability to travel up to 50%

Desired Skills/Experience:
US Military - RF or Communications technician
Training Certificate from a professional certifying body
System Management experience in Land Mobile Radio (LMR)
Systems integration experience
Working knowledge of Motorola Solutions Technology
ASTRO 25 Systems and Solutions
MOTOTRBO Systems and Solutions
Networking Knowledge
Public Safety LTE Solutions
Public Safety Applications
