What you will do

As a Technical Support Specialist (API) at Tiqets.com you are part of the Connections Team and play a critical role in the constant growth of our catalog of museums, landmarks and attractions. You take part in the communication between Tiqets, suppliers and booking platforms when APIs or other technical connections are involved.

You are the go-to person for relevant information regarding our technical integrations and enable decision makers to make the right choices.

You work together with Tiqets operational teams in Amsterdam and commercial teams in our offices worldwide by connecting the information they produce to the proper listing in the supplier's systems. Also you train them to perform the task themselves.

You communicate progress to your own team, partners, suppliers and other internal and external stakeholders, and form a valuable source of information and advice for your colleagues in the entire company.

Responsibilities

  • Be the Tiqets technical point of contact for suppliers and booking platforms
  • Map (connect) Tiqets' products to their counterparts on the supplier's side
  • Coordinate communication between Tiqets internal teams and external suppliers and booking platforms
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of suppliers' systems, processes and supported features
  • Manage technical projects involving internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify, prioritize and plan extensions to existing APIs with our development team
  • Identify potential improvements to our tooling, and spot ways to increase internal efficiency
  • Train peers in our operational teams to connect products by themselves

Requirements


  • Great communication and people skills
  • You can effectively communicate and translate requirements into well-designed technical solutions
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Organized way of working
  • Experience working directly with business partners
  • Basic understanding of data formats such as JSON and XML
  • Some affinity with software development or internet
  • Willingness to extend your technical knowledge
  • Education in an analytical domain
  • Excellent written and verbal English (Dutch or Spanish is a bonus)
  • Living in the Netherlands
