Summary Job Description

The Technical Field Service Engineer is a critical position for the sales and customer support team. The main responsibility of this position is supporting our US Customers and Regional Sales team in all technical areas with regard to the technical understanding of our products and their use in the field in all applications. This position will assist in developing the technical capabilities of the sales team, training of customers in the use of our products, technical field support, claim handling and any technical investigating resulting from claims or issues arising in the field. The position will work closely with the Americas Sales team as well as the global Product and R&D team and be influential in the training and adoption of new products across the region.

Key Responsibilities.

• Support technical training and customer support in the region for New Product Introductions
• Assist in training and technical development of our customers in the use of our products and systems
• Assist in developing the technical capabilities of the regional sales team
• Assist in providing on-site support when needed to support customers in running our products and systems
• Assist in handling of customer incident report, claim investigation and processing
• Support customers in technical presentations to E&P companies to promote DynaEnergetics solutions
• Provide on-site "onboarding" of customers running our systems
• Proactively assess customer field operations for best practices
• Maintain face-to-face customer relationships and build DynaEnergetics image
• Assist team to increase sales of new products and other products that require more technical expertise
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive activity and associated technology
• Extended travel expected up to 50% of the time. Travel expected daily within the region.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or Electronics or equivalent or General Field Engineer qualification from a major international wireline company
• 5+ years Wireline field experience (cased hole and perforating)
• Technical understanding of perforating and/or Oil and Gas Production techniques
• Excellent communication skills both written and orally, English being a requirement
• Ability to train and develop technical capabilities in others
• Ability to work in a global, fast paced cross functional team
• Well organized, proactive and customer focused

• Experience handling explosives or explosive products

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
