Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Tech Lead who is passionate about e-commerce, tech and fashion. You’ll make sure NSL is at the forefront of technical innovations within e-commerce and Shopify.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Shopify (liquid) developer and a problem solver at heart. With experience working at a web design or development agency, this candidate thrives in discovering and implementing new solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor the development team in leading a clear ticketing

structure, implementing communication best practices and processes

• Create an open culture of issue escalation - the team will come to you for problem-solving and guidance

• Modify and optimise existing Shopify themes, or assign them to other colleagues internally

• Responsible for creating in-detail technical development briefings of new storefronts, translating UX design into code

• Regularly communicate with Project Managers regarding ticket status, estimating being able to estimate task complexity and communicate their status clearly

• Identify issues with existing code and proactively implement long-term changes to prevent challenges in the future

• Ensure Not Selling Liquid is delivering best-in-class Shopify Plus storefronts by being responsible for Quality Assurance - carrying out technical reviews and setting up QA processes

Skills required

• At least 4 years of experience in e-commerce web development

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience working within the Shopify Plus platform

• Experience working with modern technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3 experience

• Experience working with Liquid, JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX as necessary

• Knowledge in Custom Shopify App development is a bonus

• Experience in Shopify Theme development

• Proven knowledge of Admin API and Storefront API, REST API

• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)

• Strong organizational skills, exceptionally organised and a detail-oriented problem solver with a positive approach to taking on challenges
