Following a successful merger with eBay Classifieds Group and launch of the new Growing at Scale Strategy, Adevinta is expanding its Communications function to focus on growing our brand profile and reputation while helping to build an integrated company culture.

As part of the Adevinta brand team, this role will contribute to building Adevinta’s brand equity by proactively improving, governing and promoting the Adevinta brand and employer brand both internally and externally.

The Social Media Specialist will work as part of a team to manage Adevinta-branded social media channels, including social media communications & campaigns planning, content production & execution, channel management, as well as measurement and reporting on Adevinta's social media impact. The role works closely with the rest of the Social Media team to ensure a consistent and high-quality representation Adevinta brand across all social media channels. This role reports into the Social Media Manager within the People & Communications function of Adevinta with no direct reports.

Key Roles and responsibilities:
Work as part of a team to support the definition and delivery of Adevinta's social media strategy, in collaboration with key stakeholders across the business (e.g. Local External Communications teams, Recruitment Marketing) and the Director, Adevinta Brand
Produce content for Adevinta's global and local Adevinta-branded social media channels (e.g. Adevinta Spain), keeping on top of trends in social media to ensure that the content created remains fresh and relevant
Manage and promote Adevinta's global and local Adevinta-branded social media channels (e.g. Adevinta Spain)
Use Adevinta's social media visual identity, guidelines and templates for content production and execution across social media channels
Engage with local external communications teams on an as-needed basis to provide advice on Adevinta messaging and branding on social media channels, to ensure consistency
Actively make Communications a great place to work, through contributing ideas, knowledge, success stories and lessons learned to the Communications community
