About the Role
As a Site Support Engineer, the candidate will become an integral part of our customers daily site operations, where we will act as a first point of contact for IT issues, and we will work closely with our manufacturing teams and individuals to drive incident resolution forward.
To Support this, engineers will be expected to demonstrate the ability to approach, understand and resolve complex technical issues alone or as part of multi-vendor team.
Responsibilities Includes:
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
 - Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
 - Ensuring electrical safety standards are met.
 - Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
 - Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers.
 - Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level.
 - Performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware.
 - Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.
 - Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
 - Conducting daily backup operations.
 - Managing Inventory – Create Forecast for the upcoming months
 - Shipment Tracking – Tracking vendor shipment tracking
 - Shipping and Receiving – Shipping damaged/faulty OEM equipment’s and receiving replacements Handling Shipments and Vendor Equipment Deliveries.
 - Managing technical documentation.
 
Qualifications:
- Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with specialization in Computer Science/Electrical and Electronics/Information Technology.
 - Master’s Degree in Management would be a plus
