For the current job opportunity we are looking for a seasoned manager with tax credit/HUD paperwork experience and the following skill set including but not limited to:
- Ability to interact with staff and residents in a professional manner.
- Working knowledge of Real Page or similar.
-Understanding the importance of good maintenance and not accepting of unprofessional repairs. Work order processing and follow up and good knowledge of the proper make ready process. Ability to work with contractors/vendors and the bidding process to complete repairs on the property. Ability to understand the importance of inventory control and good shop organization.
- Good working knowledge of the MHDC/HUD recertification process with the ability to keep all recertification current and work professionally with the resident paperwork process and communicate effectively with our Compliance department. Know how to properly run a resident waiting list and application process.
- Ability to understand and follow the basics of property management 101. Such as rent collections and posting. Proper follow thru of unpaid rent or other lease violations. Post and process invoices and understand the importance of the Purchase Order process. Know what the chart of accounts are for coding invoices and Purchase Orders.
- Continually trying to achieve 100% occupancy.
- Ability to understand the basic parts of your financial statement - You will be trained on what to look for.
- Perform quarterly unit inspections and filter changes to look for housekeeping and unit damage issues with the proper follow up.
-Know the importance of good curb appeal and how it attracts residents who care about where they live.
- Immediately bring any and all liability issues to your supervisor and follow thru with the incident report process.
- Good understanding of the MOR process and REAC inspections.
-Knowledge of all Fair Housing laws and the ADA compliance rules.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
