The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the evaluation, design, and implementation of best practice business processes which may include robotic process automation (RPA) to improve service and business efficiency. The Senior Financial Analyst will be expected to analyze data related to workflow, processes, and reporting to evaluate the efficiency of current-state business processes, technology, and opportunities for improvement throughout all revenue cycle processes. Additionally, they may be deployed to support design of future state workflow across the network.
The Senior Financial Analyst will support the implementation of process improvement including design and deployment of improved workflows generally and using RPA functionality specifically. The Senior Financial Analyst will assist with the design of process metrics reports that will be sent to leadership for clear visibility into operational KPIs and quality standards. Common objectives for process redesign will be to maintain high quality, customer-focused service delivery, to ensure the business remains compliant with ever-changing state and federal regulations, to preserve transaction accuracy and to drive greater efficiency. This position will also have a role in collaborating cross-functionally with colleagues representing various Revenue Cycle areas and functional departments to achieve common objectives.

Principal Accountabilities:
- Assist with quality and efficiency projects and activities to ensure continuous best practices, and drive business results and growth; Focus on the customer and be an active participant in creating a seamless experience
- Analyze existing workflows, perform benchmark gap analysis and assist in the design to transform workflows; Assist in the development of processes and procedures to effectively meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Develop & update process documentation, including video recording of workflows, work instructions and other tools to support execution.
- Partner with IT to incorporate system tools and functionality where applicable.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on process evaluation and improvements; Utilize RPA to enhance process efficiency.
- Participates in system testing as needed and performs extensive audits potentially spanning several aspects of the revenue cycle to ensure system changes or enhancements are performing as tested and designed.

Review work distribution for team members assisting with various Revenue Cycle projects, providing education and feedback as needed; will also support education and training of staff as it relates to workflow enhancements due to process improvements or automation. Responsible for development of training materials to support education of staff. 35%

Bachelor degree in business/information system required.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of relative experience and 1 year experience as Financial Analyst. Interpersonal and organizational skills required. Must possess superior oral and written communication skills, and analytical skills. Knowledge of personal computer and software desired. Must be capable of handling a large volume of transactions on a daily basis and considerable CRT use. May need to be on-call and/or report to work during unusual hours for system testing or troubleshooting. Must be able to interact effectively with patients and staff and demonstrate positive customer relations while maintaining patient confidentiality.
