The Senior Financial Analyst for our Corporate Clubs will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Clubs business segment by demonstrating strength in reporting, planning, and analysis. In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst will maintain and develop processes in support of departmental and/or company objectives, as well as complex financial modeling, reporting, and planning tools. Additionally, by analyzing trends, key performance measures, and financial results, our Senior Financial Analyst will identify and define opportunities to improve performance and positively impact results.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business leaders in preparing annual budgets, updated forecasts, and long-range plans, with a detailed focus on various operational and administrative functional areas.
- Perform variance analysis against plan, forecast and prior period; provide standard monthly reporting to key business leaders on a timely basis.
- Develop and maintain forecast models and methodologies, leveraging advanced technical and analytical methods as needed.
- Gather, organize, and analyze data from various sources to facilitate the review of revenue and cost drivers, including Business Intelligence, ERP and Cloud Based Software.
- Provide executive level communication on financial and KPI performance versus plan, forecast, and prior year.
- Assist with the consolidation of financial results for the company’s quarterly results, annual plans, forecasts, and long-range plans.
- Assist in the development, enhancement and maintenance of internal reporting databases and reporting platforms.
- Execute ad-hoc analytic requests, database queries, and report generation as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or another quantitative field; MBA a plus
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis with an established company
- Strong strategic, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of financial statements
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- High comfort level leveraging data warehouse systems used for reporting and analysis capabilities
- Self-starter with an ability to work proactively, independently, and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented, efficient, and organized with an exceptional ability to establish priorities and objectives
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Able to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships with diverse individuals, internally and externally, with a customer-focused mindset
- Dedicated learner with a natural curiosity for consistent growth
- Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
