Security Manager
SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a Security Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a SCI and SAP Security Management Specialist for the 645th Aeronautical Systems Group, Dayton, OH. Primary duties consist of assisting the 645 AESG Chief of Security and PMs in complex information security management tasks, data base management and information management functions supporting the documentation, tracking and oversight of Big Safari program security and individual SCI and SAP security administration. Responsibilities include all necessary security support across the entire Big Safari portfolio.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare, track, coordinate, and distribute necessary SCI position establishment documentation, nominations, training and approvals. Prepare, coordinate and distribute SCI and SAP program access requests and subsequent training and approvals for 645 AESG personnel and its contractors/ subcontractors. Preparation of SCI and SAP access requests includes all predecessor tasks needed to establish eligibility. Update associated databases as needed for management of SCI billets and SAP accesses.
- Monitor and record foreign travel notifications, approvals, and mitigations.
- Perform information security functions to include access processing, tracking and controlling, security management functions, coordinating and reporting.
- Perform resource management tasks to include administration and tracking of personnel actions, material and inventory items, office acquisition functions and squadron functions. These activities include tracking and reporting of security and resource data base information, classified holdings accounting and inventory, processing of periodic inspections and associated documentation, coordination and maintaining communications among Big Safari personnel, front office and command section points of contact, and HQ security functions.
- Maintain security database files detailing status and access of cleared personnel and assist in the dissemination and verification of visit requests for all Big Safari programs.
- Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Emergency Action Plans (EAP), Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC), and other documentation needed to effectively maintain the 645 AESG security program.
- Prepare for, and participate in, security program self-assessments, staff assistance visits, higher echelon inspections, and periodic program status checks as directed by the 645 AESG Chief of Security.
- Support the 645 AESG Chief of Security in executing daily security management supporting the Big Safari program office. This includes program access management, clearance processing and coordination, security procedure management and security classification management and administration.
- Support the 645 AESG Chief of Security in preparation and coordination of DD Forms 254, DoD Contract Security Classification Specification, as necessary for contract performance.
- Perform security duties relating to 645 AESG SCIF openings, operations, and closures necessary for mission support, to include after-hours alarm response duties.
What You Bring to the Team – Position Requirements:
- 14+ years of experience, any combination of education, military and related experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the security disciplines of industrial, physical, personnel, information and acquisition security to include security management and support of SCI and special access programs.
- Possess a Secret security clearance and eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Programs. Preference for candidates with TS/SCI
- Complete understanding of the personnel security clearance and visitor access/approval process is required.
- Attain and maintain proficiency in use of databases necessary to perform security role. These include, but are not limited to the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), the National Industrial Security System (NISS), National Industrial Security Program (NISP) Central Access Information Security System (NCAISS), and unique databases supporting SCI activities and SAPs.
- Experience in the use of existing computer image scanning systems to support Big Safari historical and information management database and archival operations for unclassified, classified, and compartmented programs.
- Completion of the Cyber Security Awareness/Information Assurance Course, Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Course, Special Access Program (SAP) Nomination Process and have experience conducting personnel security eligibility interviews/reviews.
- Experience in the development and implementation of Security Education. Awareness and Training programs, and writing Security Operations Procedures, Emergency Action Plans, and Operating Instructions for SCI and special access programs.
