We are seeking a Sales Manager II who excels at achieving results through all aspects of sales and marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new businesses and selling SocialMadeSimple services.
We're looking for someone who loves every aspect of sales– from hunting for the perfect opportunity to navigating through large organizations and nailing the sales and post-sale process. To be a successful Sales Manager at SocialMadeSimple, you should have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You should also possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing.
This role is directly measured by the acquisition and retention of new customer accounts.
What You'll Do At SocialMadeSimple
- Researching and identifying potential corporate franchise clients, including conducting market research, cold calling, and LinkedIn networking
- Build and maintain positive ongoing business relationships with the C-suite teams within franchises
- Oversee franchise pilots and provide ongoing support to ensure paid conversion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Marketing, Client Success, Content etc.
- Develop sales pitches and presentations to showcase SocialMadeSimple services
- Create proposals and quotes; negotiate and close deals
- Track and report sales performance; including monitoring and analyzing sales data to track company performance with corporate franchisee clients and identify areas for improvement
We Are Looking For People Who
- 2-4 years work experience selling B2B services, preferably in the marketing industry
- Ability to navigate complex accounts and reach C-level executives
- Able to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
- Thrives in a high paced environment where time management is a must
- Ability to create and deliver presentations (in-person and remote) tailored to audience needs
- Ability to multi-task and excel with minimal supervision
- Experience with Content Management Systems and MS Office
- BA or BS degree in Business or Marketing related major
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
Please note that this is a salary+commission role. Base $55K-60K, with uncapped commission.
OTE $106K+
