About the Job

This role is part of our Specialized Nutrition factory located in Zoetermeer and reports directly to the Factory Quality Systems Manager. In this factory (with over 500 Danoners) we produce specialized liquid medical nutrition contributing to the well-being of vulnerable target groups (infants, elderly and sick) in over 55 countries.

Your main responsibilities

The Quality Registration Officer is part of the Quality Systems Team. In many countries specialized nutrition products need to be registered at local authorities. The country business units (CBU’s) request all types of documents from the Supply Point that are needed for approval of the product in their country. The Registrations Officer is responsible for providing this documentation correctly and in time. The position reports to the Quality Systems Manager and works together with many departments within Supply Point Zoetermeer as well as other parts of Danone (CBU’s, Product Development, Global Regulatory and other SP’s).

From this pivotal position within Nutricia’s Zoetermeer Supply Point you will be responsible to:

• Receive and assess the registration requests of CBU’s;

• Request the required documentation within the Supply Point or other parts of Danone (e.g. Product Development) and from local authorities (BSE certificates, health certificates, free sales certification etc.);

• Develop standard registration documents;

• Create non-standard registration documents if necessary;

• Have documents legalized by the Chamber of Commerce and/or embassies/consulates;

• Compose the package of requested documents to be sent to the CBU’s;

• Archiving registration documents;

• Registering new products at local authorities COKZ.

We are looking for someone with a BSc/ MSc degree with preferably 2 years of experience in Quality or R&D environment, preferably working in food, pharma or the medical device industry. You have experience with an production or R&D environment and quality systems (HACCP).

In addition, you fit this role perfectly because you are/have:

• Bachelor or Master degree in food technology, quality or related fields;

• Preferably 2 years working experience in Food Quality or R&D;

• Knowledge of quality and food safety management systems (e.g. HACCP, ISO, GMP, GLP, BRC, IFS);

• Good planning skills to be able to handle many requests in parallel;

• A self-starter with strong analytical skills and good communication skills with diverse stakeholders, structured and a team player;

• Experience in Project management, Product development, or Food microbiology is advantageous;

• English (speaking and writing) is a must have.
